At elevations below 3000 feet, you wouldn't need to re-jet the carburetor. Once you get higher in elevation than that, you'll want to re-jet the carburetor. From my research your truck came from the factory with either 235/80-17 or 265/70-18 sized tires. According to an online owner's manual I found if you have 265/70-18 sized tires you will have minimal clearance for tire chains. You should check your owner's manual to verify.
